The driving license clearly indicates if you should be driving only automatic vehicles, if you should be driving while wearing eyeglasses, spectacles, and contact lenses, or if you should be driving with your hearing aids on. 0- Unrestricted Driving License
A driver’s license with the number “0” or “بدون قيود” implies that it has no restrictions.
1 – Drive Automatic Vehicles Only
A driving license code of “1” indicates that he or she is only permitted to drive automatic vehicles and is not permitted to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
2 – Drive with Prosthetic Implant
A driving license code of “2” indicates that the driver must use an external or implanted device to replace or supplement a missing or damaged body part.
3 – Drive with Eye lenses or Glasses
A driver with Saudi Arabia’s driving license limitation code “3” must use corrective lenses or eyewear while behind the wheel.

4 – Drive only during the daytime
The driver is only permitted to drive during the day. That is from half an hour after sunrise to half an hour before sunset.
5 – Drive with Hearing aid
A driving license code of “5” indicates that the driver must use a hearing aid while driving.
6 – Driving License Valid Only within Saudi Arabia
If a driver’s license has a Code “6,” it means they are only allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia. The driver with this code cannot obtain an international driving license on the basis of a Saudi license
7 – Special car required for the disabled
This indicates that the only car the driver may operate is one that has hand controls for the brake and accelerator. This code is assigned to the driving licenses of disabled individuals.
8 – Drive Only for No commercial use
A driving license with a code of “8” indicates that the holder is not permitted to drive a vehicle for commercial purposes.
