Taakkad (تأكد لصحتك) is Saudi Arabia’s national preventive health screening initiative launched by the Health Holding Company under the Ministry of Health. It represents the Kingdom’s first innovative national network for periodic health screening, designed to shift from treatment-focused care to preventive healthcare.

What Is Taakkad?

Taakkad uses a modern drive-through model with advanced medical technology to provide fast, accurate, and reliable periodic medical screenings across all health clusters in Riyadh. The program aims to enhance preventive healthcare and improve access to health services in line with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.

Who Can Use Taakkad and Is It Free?

Taakkad serves all community segments, focusing on men and women ages 35 and above. The service is completely free as part of the public healthcare system, funded by the Saudi government.

What Health Screenings/Tests Are Available?

Taakkad offers three structured packages:

Basic Package

Blood pressure screening
Blood sugar (diabetes) testing
Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment
Lipid disorders (cholesterol) testing

Basic Plus Package (ages 40+)

All Basic Package tests
Breast cancer screening
Colorectal cancer screening
Bone density (osteoporosis) assessment

Age-Specific Packages

For Women:

35-40 years: Basic screening (20 minutes)
40-45 years: Basic + breast cancer (60 minutes)
45-60 years: Comprehensive screening (60 minutes)
60-75 years: Full comprehensive including osteoporosis (80 minutes)
75+ years: Breast cancer + osteoporosis (80 minutes)

For Men:

35-40 years: Basic screening (20 minutes)
45-60 years: Comprehensive (20 minutes)
60-75 years: Full including colorectal cancer + osteoporosis (50 minutes)
75+ years: Basic + osteoporosis (50 minutes)
