Saudi Arabia is a fascinating country with a rich culture and history. However, it’s also a conservative society that can be difficult to navigate for first-time visitors. Here are the things to avoid in Saudi Arabia
1. Don’t criticize the Saudi government, King, Crown Prince or the country
2. Don’t take pictures of the Saudi Military, Gas & Oil Plants and Women without prior consent
3. Don’t Criticise Islam. Don’t advocate any other religion than Islam. Don’t Insult Prophet Muhammed ﷺ or Ka’ba or anything related to Islam
4. Don’t display public affection with your better half
5. Don’t practice – Gambling, Black Magic, Witchcraft, Pr**titution, Id*l Worship, Wearing a cr*ss, Drugs, Drinking Alcohol and all other illegal things that are banned by the Kingdom
6. Don’t be seen eating or drinking during Ramadan Days.
7. Don’t go out wearing shorts or revealing clothes
8. Don’t go out to beg for money
9. Don’t try to enter Makkah/Madinah if you are a Non-Muslim.
10. Don’t Shoot Public Prank Videos in Saudi Arabia
11. Don’t attempt Hajj/Umrah without a valid permit
12. Don’t post illegal and s*xually explicit content on social media
13. Don’t be g*y or L**bian. L**T Relationships and marriages are punishable offences in Saudi Arabia
14. Don’t stay in Saudi without Valid Visa or a Residency permit (Iqamah)
15. Don’t receive or send funds to unknown people in Saudi Arabia.
